    yeah.. think those wires are over looked a lot.. any kinda 'lectric pump is an add on.. most carb V6 mercs are still runnin' are on tha mechanical pump... no tellin' why they added a 'lectric one unless they're like me!!!.. or jus lazy 'bout havin' ta pump a bulb up!

    gonna add.. if a v6 you can look at tha sensors on tha motor and tell whats what.. sensor on starboard head is overheat.. sensor on port head is temp gauge.. if its an efi gauge wire should be tan/blue...

    do ya get tha "self check" beeps BEFORE it goes into alarm beeps?.. if ya plan on keepin' tha oil injection with all its sensors i would take a chance on a used one off ebay before i bought new.... that part is not known for common failures (but do fail on occasion) ..... we've given and/or...

    Capacitor discharge ignition, "CDI" is tha type ign and does not necessarily mean a product of the "CDI" company.. gotta keep that in mind while doin' a search for tha parts... google (enter 332-7778A12) will turn up tons of switch boxes from 20 bucks a "pair" ta over 400 for single merc racing...

    yes.... best ta change both at same time.. tha "A #" is mostly jus a superceded number.. all 7778A's are pretty much same and any will work.

    no.. its justa production down housing with no liner and those holes drilled for an "open" sorta exhaust.. little quieter than tha hi perf offshore down housing... clamp and trim is same as hi perf "offshore"..
