Fuel leak under flywheel?

I have a 87 magnum 150 that I have been working on. Finally got running and running great. I noticed an apparent fuel leak that looks to be coming from under the flywheel, under the spark advance. I am going to pull and inspect next weekend. Any ideas or "common" issue in that area to look for? I'm lost as to what would be leaking there and hope to get a few pointers so I'm not swinging blind. Thanks in advance for your help.

Not possible to leak fuel from that high up on any outboard. The only way it could, would be if the top seal was bad. Even then the crankcase is mostly under a vacuum, so it doesn't come out of that area.

I know, that is what has me so stumped. I am seeing fuel/oil under the flywheel. I cannot find a leak anywhere else. Assuming I am missing something, will start over this weekend...
Thank you for the prompt response.

Will take a closer look at the oil tube for top bearing. Is there any way that it is getting too much there and the extra is coming out? If so, is there any way to remedy that? I just started playing with older motors as a hobby, enjoy it, but have a lot to learn. Thanks!

Yes the top seals do blow out on V-6 motors and yes fuel/oil mix will blow out . I have replaced a many over the years.

Thanks to all. Finally got back to it and it was the seal at top end cap. All seems to be good there now.

----" Crankcase is mostly under a vacuum "----Not a correct statement.-----Vacuum is not high compared to the crankcase compression !!

Yes, compression is alot higher than vacuum. I was just thinking in the suction side of the case. It does go both ways from downstroke to upstroke.

Reed valves open so vacuum is not that high in the 6 separate crankcases.
