I saw another iBoats poster recommend this site several years ago.

I have never used the service, but I did bookmark the web address for the day when I need a boat or vehicle removed. The service claims to be free, which seems too good to be true, but it may work out for you. If the service works as advertised, it is a good way to acquire and dispose of cheap/free old boats that have salvagable parts.

we spent Sunday at Lake Mead, too bad it was rough seas and windy as heck, but the water was warm and the beers cold, so it was fun had by all!
I dont get in many photos, Im always taking em!

OHH VERY COOL there Vegas !!! looks like fun !!!! is that the wife in the second pic ????? in the third , they are some runners !! nice boats !! thanks for shareing !! I had to work !! we were busy as all get out !! got one more day and then 3 days off !! man I need them !! going fishing wed !!!!!!! John

Yea could do that . but the guys been trying to give it way now for over the last year , i guess , and if i strip her I really dont think anyone going to want her then !! its a same she looks like she could really take some waves , real deep V on her !!! John

I posred this in chris thread but . last monday we were out and running her . over taking another boat !! and hit his wake and got some good air under her !!!! she handled realy well !! wish I could have gotton a shot of that !! Love the way shes running !! and still got to get 1300 more rmps out of her !! John

I am always impressed with THE Glastron. I still brag about it when the boat resto subject comes up at work. I think the last lie I told you were doing about 70 mph with that engine. Was I close?

Nope there Drew , shes only doing 43, still need to move to a 15 pitch and I got a 2 blade I need to get fixed , I will Get 50 out of her!!!!! lol

Well guys My Season Is Done !!!! My Lower leg is gone !! got towed in by two guys in kayak !! I was rowing also !!! !#$@$$@@!## she run rea;;y great out there till we got about to the spot we wanted to try and we were slowing down and she quit but started back up !! we fished for a while and weren't getting anything , so we were going to move and there was noise coming from the lower end !! any way these guys came by hearing us try to start and offered to help pull !! we only had to go a hindered yards to another ramp !! then there were some guys fishing there and one of them offered to drive me to get the truck !!!!! Thanks Dan !!!

Any was got back here and tried some more , found my started binding up also !! and there was no oil in the lower leg !! So we pulled it and checked the rest of the motor out , did a compression test and she is good all 6 were 123 to 127 !!!!!!! so thats great getting spark on all of them !!!

So this winter going to fix her up and re paint a few spots !! and paint the trailer !!!

OHHH and also got sting by a wasp out there . bugger got me on my neck !!$$%#%$$%%##@@!$$ john

My Lower leg is gone !!

Sorry to hear about that. My lower went out in the spring and it took me a good portion of the season to save enough money for a replacement. I probably made 10 fewer trips to the lake this year because of my lower unit issue. Now I have a newly rebuilt unit and all is good, but it was an expensive start to the season. Hopefully you will be able to make the necessary repairs during the winter months and not miss any time next season.

Ah man thats gonna hurt (the wallet) worse than the sting to the neck...owww!

Good luck with that, hopefully it just a few bearings and some re assy and youre back on track! make sure to ADD OIL! lol
