John Buddy I'm laughin with ya I'm laughin with ya . I can actually see me doing just such a thing ( pull old prop off set it next to new prop and never once notice that somehow they look differant ). Only differance is I most likely would have taken more than just the Boss with me to launch .

yea I hear yea Rick . I night have noticed if she had a prop on her, they were in a bucket when I brought her home !! Man it was weird. thought I mixed the cables , but how could be i marked them before I took the off !! man she sure did go nice in forward going in reverse !!! still shacking my head !!!!!!!!!!!! lol and the worse part , I was going to tale one of my other props but didnt do it !!!! John

Man, I really gotta look elsewhere for a boat motor, something like that would go for at least 1500 up here, just for the motor!

I hear you red, If I could find a deal like that, I would part my 1500 out and try to get my money back out of it and still be ahead of the game, I would just have another boat that I would have to find a home for cough cough resto next year, cough cough.

OOOOHHH MY GOD !!! 42 mph and man she runs strong . there were a few problrms . Like reverce didnt work we went forward ???? lol and the starter went click click and had a tow going in but then she started and we went for a couple loops around the lake !!! YEEEE HAAAAAAAAAA we even got some fish 6, 5 cats and one walleye !!!!!! over all petty pleased for a motor that was sitting for 4 years !!!!!!!!!! going tomorrow after we check her out a little more !!!!!! John

This starter looks a little different then the one on the hindered??? for one the solenoid not in the same spot . but i will check it out more . plus dont really think its the starter it self, i went and tightened all the nuts and she work great yesterday !! man what a great day yesterday !! had one fish on yesterday that was the biggest one I ever had on !! pole bent in half and line going tool me tight in the cattails and was gone !!! lol man what a fish!! I was the only one that caught fish !!! it was my birthday !!!

Glad to hear that got some good speed. Sounds like there is still some work to be done though with the shifter and starter but seem minor in comparision.

Just curious, how did you come across the iboat.com decal...or is it painted? I remember reading somewhere yesterday, probably in oop's thread or yours, about the oops sticker for the back of the boat but I don't see it anywhere?

I just went to my local vinyl shop and had them made up 20 bucks, kind of told him what size it had to fit in and came back an hour later and he had them done !! John
