    1992 Gamefisher Issues. Need help.

Not sure I would replace the carb just yet. I would start by checking the fuel pump diaphragm. From the symptoms, it sounds like it is too lean. The carburetors on these motors are pretty simple. Might be difficult to find a new one. I would clean up the one you have before trying to find a...

    Force 70HP 1991 2 stroke Wiring Diagram

Yes that is the correct one. If I remember correctly, the installation instructions for this particular stator on the CDI WEB site says to run the Red/White and Blue/White wires to engine ground. The original stator had the windings internally wired to ground. I think I saw a used one on Ebay...

    1991 120HP Force Timing marks

Yes you are correct. If the flywheel normally turns clockwise when running, (looking down at the flywheel from above) looking at the 3 marks, the one to the very right is 28° BTDC.

    Force 70HP 1991 2 stroke Wiring Diagram

You have a later model stator that is typically used in the CDM ignition system from around 1994 and later. The trouble-shootong page you posted is a bit misleading in your case because they don't tell you what years the Black stator and Red stators were used. As far as I know, OEM Switch Box...

    Force 70HP 1991 2 stroke Wiring Diagram

You don't have a red stator wire attached to the "RED" terminal on the switch Box because I suspect that you don't have the correct stator. What color are your stator wires?

    Force 70HP 1991 2 stroke Wiring Diagram

I'm looking at the wires where the 8 pin connector was cut off. Don't take this as gospel, as wire colors may change from year to year. Yellow/Black = Choke or Primer solenoid. Red = Battery positive 12 volts. Might run to the fuse just above the Regulator/Rectifier. Black = Engine ground...

    Force 70HP 1991 2 stroke Wiring Diagram

For starters, it looks to me like you might have the wrong stator. The stator wires should be the following colors. 2 Yellow wires that go to the Regulator/Rectifier. 1 Blue wire that goes to the "BLU" terminal on the Switch Box. 1 Red wire that goes to the "RED" terminal on the Switch Box...

1989 Force 35hp fuel pump issue

I believe that this one will fit. It's actually from a 40HP. Looks like maybe these motors all used the same pump. It has 4 screws that attach it to the by-pass cover. Might want to verify it before you buy it though. PUMP

    Force 70Hp 1991 gear problem

You should start your own thread and state what year and model/ HP your motor is. Having said that, the "U" shaped part is the shift yoke, and the other part is the pin that the yoke sits on. If my memory serves me right, I believe your pin might be broken. For some reason, I thought that it...

    1990 Force 90hp 3 cylinder won't start ughh

Before you do anything you should first do some basic trouble-shooting. The coils do not fail very often. The CDI units run in the $300+ range. Are you familiar with using a multi-meter? Basic resistance and voltage measurements?

Force -need finding year of motor

Looks like it might be a 1990 15HP model.

    Force 125 lacking power

Maybe the ring gap you're seeing is actually a broken ring?

    Force 70Hp 1991 charging issues

Looks like your meter is set to measure resistance (OHMs). To check the stator winding, you have to measure the resistance between the two yellow wires. It should read very low OHMs, can't remember exactly but I think it's like 2 to 6 OHMs. Maybe even less. If it reads significantly higher...

    Force Chrysler 35 hp, pistons.

The pistons for that motor are unique and not used in any other models. That makes them very limited and had to find. You'd probably be better off finding a different complete used motor. If you are going to stay with a Force motor, a used 40HP or 50HP motor is better as parts are more...

    Tilt Cylinders Leaking

There's some posts at the beginning of the forum that details the valve body repair. https://forums.iboats.com/threads/88-force-85hp-trim-drop-help-verified.620988/...

    Tilt Cylinders Leaking

Topgun is correct. The "O" ring is on the outer threaded portion of the cap. Not where the rod comes through. You might be able to get the rod seal at a shop that does hydraulic cylinder repairs. I've been able to source several of these types of seals at a local hydraulic cylinder repair shop.

    Tilt Cylinders Leaking

I'm pretty sure that it's an "O" ring seal That seals the cap. https://www.crowleymarine.com/mercury-outboard/parts/1257_190.cfm?mdl=VFOSJU

1995 90HP Force Outboard Fuel Starvation

Yes, the idle speed passages do supply fuel at higher RPM's. The difference between idle and higher RPM's is the position of the throttle plates, and where the idle/low speed mixture ports are drilled into the side of the throttle bore. From idle to about 1/8th open, just the idle/ low speed...

    significance of same cylinder-pressure

Depends on what is causing the difference in pressure. If it's a head gasket, then it may eventually fail compltetly. If it's cylinder wall/ring seal, then the motor may not run at peak performance, but will probably run for many years if maintained.

    Intermittent "cough" during startup.

That's pretty much normal. As long as it doesn't backfire, you should be good to go. You can also check the drain back reeds and passages to make sure the intake passages aren't loading up with fuel. At low speeds, the fuel flow isn't moving that fast, so the fuel/air mixture has a tendency...
