Thanks for the kind words, FunInDuhSun Quote; Thanks, I posted this on a DIY site and everyone said push it back, but didn’t give a reason. I know the boat is light and so is the engine. Answer Probably because the motor is light and you and console "may" way outweigh the motor and reverse...

    Tippy aluminum houseboat

The siphoning is a very good point that I didn't even consider.... It sure would make it easier on the fuel pump.. LOL. But if a float sticks or doesn't cut off, yeah that Could be bad. And filling at station has got to be a pain, short hose and having to climb with the hose or have someone...

From everything you say, you did everything right, And I would have expected better results too, (maybe not enough wetting like others said)I am t at a loss at this point, Sorry. I can say with pretty good confidence, IF you change to epoxy, as you say you Plan. You should see better results...

    Immediate delamination

If the surface is contaminated with "something" (And It would have to be really bad) When you grind it or sand it, you "Can" just smear and spread it around, also get it in your grinding pad. And just keep spreading in different places. Now that is Very extreme, I have not encountered what you...

    Question On Changing Stringer Location

1/2 or 3/4 will work all day long. 1" Is just adding more mass and weight in my humble opinion. To give a little more evidence on this idea. try this and you can see for yourself. Take a 1"x 4" or 1"x 6" any length, turn it to its edge and try to bow it. Now that should be a 3/4" finished board...
