Anybody ever here of Outboard Marine Ventures? I need to maybe replace my outboards(one got attacked by the exhaust corrosion gods and is locked up) I found this Co. in my searches and it seems to good to be true and we all know how that works out most times

225, 250 Yamaha four strokes, and I can't tell what roll this Co. plays , Craigs list type Co. or they take trades and need to sell them

Proceed with caution. They list locations in Oklahoma, South Africa and Turkey but with only one phone number that is not USA based.. Prices are way too cheap. It could be legit if they are selling motors that would be considered grey market in the USA ( lacking EPA cert ) but are sold at a lower cost in that country.. Or it could be a complete scam. I've bought vehicles and had them imported from Japan, but I knew how to get them legal, and I knew legit sources to buy them from, and I only bought them that way because you can't get them in the USA

IT PROBABLY ISN'T too good,.. after all.
If I were you, I would check, re-check... and then check my gut feeling once again.
This ask myself, is it Really worth this gamble and how much is a known ok deal after I Gamble or possibly just pi$$ this first money away then have to lick my wounds and buy a real 2nd. deal that I should have done to begin with..

You really have no recourse. if its a scam.

Thanks Everyone, that's what I expected but needed some other opinions. I was getting a little antsy about missing some of the best boating weather we have down here and since We've become 1 boat owners it's hard to stare at the water all day and not be able to out there

My worst mistakes always happened when I was in a hurry. and couldn't wait.

I have 2 boats.. never put either in the water..
Both have caps removed, and several years til completion.
I Get it.. wanting to be on the water.
