    Flotation foam

Pray what you see is mildew or mold. I can't count the numbers of times in my boats that foam has soaked up water. Drill into stringer and examine drillings for black rot or water. If any, you probably are going to spend a lot of time grinding and re glassing. If not, plug holes with 5200 and...

Manifolds (Trying to figure out what I am looking at)

I had a sea ray with no shutters and had no problems, but friends with other boats had issues with water coming back into riser. I suspect that boaters who back down a lot have more issues that not. Sierra told me over phone that their riser gaskets do not require sealant. they also sell lots of...

Manifolds (Trying to figure out what I am looking at)

Buy some acetone and make a jig or block to seal off ports and pour acetone into both exhaust and then risers. The riser blocks will be the most difficult to build, but if I could fabricate a device, you can too. I suspect y pipe worn shutters are allowing some steam back into head ports. Easy...

    Vinyl curtain shrinking.

I cover my boat with a Big tarp. Unfortunately, due to health issues, I have not been able to work on it much as I would like. However, I notice recently that my curtains seem to have shrunk which is making zippers difficult to close curtains. One zipper broke. Doest clear vinyl do this over time???

    Blown head gasket

If salt used block, pitch it. Insides will be crap too. You may be able to salvage if fresh water used, but I wouldn't chance it.

    Another prop slipping thread

water over damn... With OD installed, and with a buddy and a vice grip, stop motor from turning (best way) while you attempt to move prop with a 2x4" If anything moves, pull prop and take to shop and pray it needs repairs and not coupler. I had similar problem with a MC/Proline
