Here's my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 HEMI pulling my Glastron. I put airbags in the rears springs to keep it from squatting and not it pulls great, and gets 13 mpg while doing it.

You should consider getting a ball mount with more drop to get the trailer level.

2011 All Star edition. I am slowly customizing it. I've had the truck a month...tell me what you think.

If anyone knows of any decent exhaust systems for a 5.3l w/ Active Fuel Management lemme know. I know folks complain about drone noise in some systems. Contemplating Cooks or Gibson headers... I am really looking for a clean sound with some bark when you get on it.

I just got a hitch on my 2004 Impreza outback sport. The old lady often uses the truck(01 dodge diesel) on weekends for horse shows so I had to improvise. Took a two hour drive north and really I could barely tell it was back there. Mileage was pretty good too. The car is stock except for K&N filter and WRX rims.
The Starcraft is a 1966 Sea Dart, freshly redone into a custom fishing machine.

Typically use my 02 Silverado 5.3 V8 as it is better set up for towing, but my wife's 05 Trailblazer 4.2 I6 does a fairly decent job over the passes here in WA State. We have a 1990 Bayliner Capri 2050. We could easily use something smaller going to a local lake, but they are all over crowded or cold so Eastern WA is the place to go. Chelan, Roosevelt, Osoyoos...the list goes on

Hey everyone, long time reader, short time member of the iboats community. I grew up boating with my family now my wife and I have our first boat! A twelve year old Larson LXi 226. I pull it with my 12 year old truck. No upgrades, no fancy wheels, no weird colored lights, just bone stock as the day it was purchased...and it does just fine!

I pull al my small aluminum boats, lawnmowers and motorcycles with my 1991 honda civic rt4wd it has a super low gear designated on the gear shifter as SL with a regualr 5 speed transmission to follow that gear all powered by a 1.5l gas engine transmitted to all 4 wheels through hondas realtime 4wd setup. works great in the mud ice and snow and on slick boat ramps.

1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 4wd automatic. pulling a 1989 Sea Ray 180 bow rider with no trailer brakes. Going down the road and up hills is no problem how ever stopping with out trailer brakes makes life interesting at times

I pull my 14' with a 2005 Chevy Express 2500, small v8. It's a royal pain to back up at times, but I love having everything closed in. It is a new to me van as I just upgraded from an 89 Chevy Vandura 2500 with a v6.
