Re: The passing of Don S

I remember thinking a few days ago that I have not seen a Don S post in a while. He will be missed. He had a great way of talking common sense in to people when they started going off in the wrong direction. I was always flattered when he replied to one of my posts. He will be missed.

Re: The passing of Don S

Very sad news. Like many other have echoed, Don S has been one of the key contributors to my boating knowledge & a good portion of the reason I have a running old boat today! He wasn't a Stringer guy, but he was absolutely an engine guy and he was instrumental in making my boat purr. I will miss him dearly though I never *knew* him.

Perhaps now Bond-O can have a chance at claiming the all-time post-count record?! :D

Side note - are there any pictures of Don & his boat(s)? I'd love to be able to put a face with the name of such an important contributor.

I could not have said it better, but I would add two things to the quote above and ask this of the Moderators.
1. Is there a posted copy of Don's obituary?
2. Where can we send personal condolences to Don's family.
