Re: The passing of Don S

Don was a NASCAR fan, and as I gather a Chevy guy (or at least anything but Toyota). So, a little Photo-Choppin' in Don's honor:

Someone asked if I could do it, and it was fun to play a little like he would.

That is great! It is now my desktop background.

RIP, I cannot believe it. I'd say Don will never be replaced with his knowledge and willingness to share it.

He will definitely be missed.

I just checked my PM's. My last PM here was Don telling me he deleted a reply in a thread I made. That was at the end of April.

I am so truly saddened by his passing. He always knew exactly where to help me whenever I had issues with my Volvo. He knowledge was something I always felt I was able to count on because I knew he had seen it all, and was able to point me in the correct direction. Rest in peace Don, you are woefully missed.

As a German there is plenty of motorist expertise here. But when it comes to Mercruiser I switched to Iboats and to Don S. He was always spot on.

My warmest condolences.

I was so surprised to hear of Don's passing.
My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Don had a "no nonsense" way of handling some threads (including some of my own).
He made people do some leg work and investigating on their own......thus teaching them in the process.

He will be missed............
