Home from vaca. Highly recommend "lower County" North Cape May. beaches are clean and dogs allowed. For 2 blocks of beach maybe 8 people. Cross a road, walk thru the dunes then a beach with tide water all day long. !0 minutes from Cape May hustle bustle.
Went to alot of boat docks to look at different boats and style/construction. Hundreds of boats like you could walk across the harbors from one boat to the next.
Dis some 4 hr. trip night fishing. Their really aren't many fish left here in this area. They make croakers sound like a hoot/catch they used to be junk fish. I even heard people saying sea robbins were a delicacy. LOL!
Brought junior out and had fun. Caught a 6" King Fish and told the mate to use it for bait. He says it's a keeper. I says might win the pool? that would be a shame.
Well I won the pool.....$45.00 Tipped mate.
So cause fishing is so bad they do this "let's try for monster blues" at the end of the trip. I says to matey that looks like a shark hook. Shhh he says.
So for the last 45 min. they land some nice sharks and let all the kids, women and ole farts have a turn fighting the fishy. Cool move but boy has the Delaware Bay gone to poop.
Went beach fishing and pulled in a couple of 4-5' sharks. My daughter caught some small weakies and king.
Home, unpacked back on the boat. Sanded down the prior bubbles for deck. Marked off spots for return work and hosed out the boat. Fishwells drained perfectly and have no drain hoses. Water runs thru FFS product.
Getting ready for back to work..................................
