I love the dam thing. I used to do gas and charcoal etc. But since I got into the groove of the smoker which is sooooo
eeeeaaassyy and add dif. flav. woods their is no turning back.
Right now I have the coals going, wifey making 2 meatloafs and gonna throw them on the heat and smoke awhile with apple woods. Very easy to control temps and add some bbq flavored sauces. Alreadt smells good.
In the meantime today I did the Port side areas with the fairing. Filled some nail holes and foam holes.
Let it set up etc and get back at it. Really wanted to do both sides but time constraints and eating! Also realized that I should not rush this part cause makes 3x work.
Yup Bud is it. Been around the world so many times and came back to the KING!

Got some tabbing done and glass on the splashwell deck. All wet on wet. Its a hot one today. Geeeezz!
14' 3" tabs and 14' 5" tabs. I used a tool dezmond referenced from USC. It's a pizza cutter and runs right thru 1700.
You will need something like cardboard under for the cuts.
It made those strips a pc. of cake to cut.
Very happy with the fairing results also. On another note I did some fairing on the splashwell deck prior to glassing and the glass went on/over it smoothly 18" x 68". Sitting on 91 deg here at 1 in the afternoon. Completed fairing on starboard side yesterday.

Upper 70's here, but with a nice breeze off the lake should be lower 70's when I get home from work :)

About time for you there Eric. I don't think I could handle those seasons you have. How's the wrist doing? whats next on that issue.

Can't get in to the joint specialist until July 26 unless he has a cancellation. Just living with it using a brace for now.

No, but against it anyway. Strongest stuff I like to put in my body put in my body is aspirin.

Yea, I'm with ya on that one... I was given vicodin and other stuff for various injuries over the years but I never took them cuz I dont like the whole loopy feeling

I could send you my KOB stash but I’m afraid the shipping cost would be too high .
‘I could empty em first to keep the cost down I guess .. :joyous:

Happy 4th! of July everyone!
Got some fairing done today from last week tabbing.
Took a break from the deck work today. Got washed out yesterday with the deck, a storm and no electric for 2 days. Temps are insane. So took the Queen out for lunch, Birthday and rest. Generator was running so did some decking yesterday.
Beat! Going to bbq lunch and sack out for shift work tonight.
