Alls well, real busy at work now, and my spare time has been spend in lawn equipment hell.....the grass is growing like crazy (and I dont mean the good stuff!).

The skiff bottom and sides are ready to paint, but im using the booth as a repair shop right now....I figure ill get to paintin in July at best.

Im also converting a pasture to vineyard so im swamped so to speak.

Here ya go mickyryan and mentor Woodonglass
I've been working on the side supports from the splashwell that I modified. Either side is built up with 3/4" then 1/2" for base structure.
3/4" was glassed both sides and fitted to meet up with gunnels. Then pb was added to make the next 3/4" and 1/2" panels end up somewhat flush to the existing gunnels to deck.
-Both sides after installed received 6 pcs. wet on wet 1700 for build up and some low arease were built up seperately with 1700 to get rid of low areas.
-Lots of belt sanding with 36 grit to bring down the purposely built up high areas.
-Then Mike and I talked cause I move sooooo slowwww and wanted to protect the epoxy from sun. Mike recommended rusto high gloss metal primer. I got a rattle can in white and sprayed. Also will help to identify high and low spots for fairing.
-Used USC micro balloons for fairing/epoxy.
-Scuffed up all areas, wiped with acetone till flash then rolled eeepppoooxxxyyy over all areas to help bond and fill pin holes.
-At same time working deck hatch area which connects to new flush deck splashwell and drains.

Came home today and sanded down with some 80 grit palm sander. Not bad. Also bought some large sponge sanders at higher sand numbers but they weren't cutting the humps I made.
sanding got to a little heavy but I know I need to do fairing about 2x futher. I really am not a manual sanderkind of guy. Also added some build up to make transom flush/natural to curves.
I do like the gunnel tops/blend install to splashwell. They have not been faired yet but look sweet already with the primer on. :D

To date this is one of the most unfriendliest forums I've ever been involved with for posting pictures in any format. I'll try later.

Get back to work - quit fiddling around on the computer!

Kinda cool how its turning out. Little at a time. After this area is glassed and faired then back to under the gunnels upside down glassing.
After that finish the decking. Very cool says I!
