So here are some pics of my "Nuclear" install. Also by mistake ordered eeeepppoooxxxyyy "thick" from us comp. I confirmed I ordered it so gots ta use it. Oh well. Goes on like jello. I would not use it to soak woods to waterproof.
I see an advantage though with the overhead gunnel glass work. This stuff is really thick to is the stick.
Made a new order today for the usual stuff. Live and learn.
Pics are of port side. Not too fancy at all. Also some prefab for starboard side.
Ha ha pics won't load ….get back to it later.

New laptop.... So starboard side is as it has been and working on portside.Glassed up pcs. for port side. The slow work is under and inside with pb and glass upside down. The multi-tool gets in there nicely to clean up the nubs.
Have some foam for rear deck looks like Mon is @ 80's.

Looking good Chris. I might sneak the foam in sooner. Got a lot of over time at work this weekend and little bbq. We'll see. I really want to get those gunnels completed and tied to the deck.

Sometimes mistakes are made for a reason . As runny as the epoxy is the thicker stuff had to stay put much better under the gunny’s !
‘Looking good Kc !

Still a bit sore but not bad . Yesterday had a cringe moment . Bent over a bit and picked up the Admirals canine side kick ..She don’t weigh much but a pain streak shot down my right leg . I did have a bit of an oh _ _ _ t moment . I have stopped taking the pain meds a couple days ago . Been using a flex-tens unit instead. It does help quite a bit . I’m not much on taking pills if I don’t have to .

2018_0519_053206_001.JPG2018_0520_031303_001.JPG Now having a base to build on I used a combination of 3/4" and 1/2" wetted out ply. I beveled the edges of the existing boat glass so I have to build the new glass up to that for strength.
In regards to the pb base to set the new ply I determined areas that needed to be thicker than others. I let the screws pull me in to the desired depth and squeeze out the pb.
Let that begin to set up and came back to trowel the second coat of pb to a beveled finish.
So glass will be below existing finish and now allow me to build up the glass to finish and fair.

All those screw holes were fer fiddling. No screws at all in this app.
Any I did use I backed out and filled.
Dinkin 4-5 layers 1700 to get squared up.
