and bringing scrapple , im ok with that:) but no stealers shirts:)

I worked in a hog slaughter/processing plant for @ 9 mos. 10,000 hogs a day as the plumbing supervisor. Love the smell of scrapple, my parents ate it daily on Sun. mornings when familys use to come together.
I'll stick to bacon and sausages. It is a Phila. Classic ya know, scrapple that is.
All the smells there just made you hungry. Smoked bacon was the best. So bacon isn't even smoked anymore by any mfg. It's all sprayed chemicals in a hot house oven for the different flavors. Most of the work entailed pulling miles of pig guts and parts out of the drainage systems and repairing stainless steel lines that deteriorated from the same chemicals.
Still love to eat the pork!
Life is Short... Eat the Bacon!

Price of entry when my BIL's come from Philly to visit us in Pittsburgh is scrapple and a couple pounds of ring bologna Unfortunately cheese steaks with sauce & onions don't travel well). Years ago used to also require a couple of cases of Lagers but we can get those around here now. I'll be heading out there for Thanksgiving so I think Micky's idea of Steeler shirts is great ….. and there pretty cheap right now LOL

Check out,frozen/fresh "Old Neigborhood" beef shaved steak. Real happy with the flavor. Add some chopped green peppers, minced garlic, spainish onion/or sweet yellow. Slow and low in a pan to cook the fat in. Just like a Philly steak.

How hard is is this to bend. My rolled angle is @ 60 to 70 degree to cover the entire transome. Alternatively I'm thinking a pc. only @ 18" flat where the outboard will sit. The transom is not a true 90 degree bend so I'll have to work that also. Any suggestions/techniques welcomed.
Let's see if the pic sticks.;
The stick will be 1" on the edge drop back of transom and 3" on the flat x @ 8'
3003 Aluminum Diamond Plate Angle Corner Guard made from .063 mirror finish diamond plate aluminum
I'm thinkin the 18" pc. is the solution and finish off
the flats with some mfg truck bedliner stuff.

You could make a template of the transom shape with plywood and laminate a couple pieces together so its a little thicker... then drill some holes around the radius for clamping... lay in some aluminum U-channel and use some beefy c clamps to slowly heat and bend until it forms to the correct radius. It will spring back a little bit, but not so much that you couldn't suck it down with screws and 5200.

If you use L or U section, I would try to keep the vertical leg shorter than 1/2" or its gonna be REALLY hard to bend without fracturing.

I don't have a problem making a buck to beat on. I just think it's over kill. And a pia. Also concerned about the metal bluing up with the heat. I want to use what I show, the other stuff looks cheap to me.
1 side will have a 1" drop on the transom out side the other is flush on the transom.

Your gonna have a really hard time getting a 1" long leg to stretch around that bend...
you can give it a shot but your gonna need heat I think.

and you will probably want to anneal it several times throughout the process so it doesn't work harden and tear...
don't forget, annealing aluminum is the opposite of steel... get it nice and toasty then dunk in water.
