In regards to the hull I'm going to see if I can bring back the gelcoat. It's in pretty good shape. Needs a good workout though.
Well then if that is the way I'm going then I'll try to bring back most of the inside the same. Ya know the deck getting installed is another animal to consider, try to get close. Accent the hatches with the salmon.
In the end I'm still building a wheelhouse so the colors are still a toss up. The putty color is dated but when I take the time to work on it properly it may be a white or offwhite. Thats alot of gelcoat on the hull not to take advantage of.
Any input appreciated.
Luckily the wind turned the other direction. :D

Paint looks GREAT. Give her 2-3 weeks to cure and get the sun on it. After that, a LIGHT compounding and then buff with wax and she'll retain that nice shine. This is what I use for Paint and Gelcoat

if the gel is at the right thickness you shouldn't have any issues bringing it back.
IMHO this is a good watch & read. It describes all the correct methods and processes.
You'll need a Good Variable Speed Polisher. HF has one for $50 and with a 25% coupon it's under $40.
It works really well. They also sell the foam and sheepskin pads. Well worth the money.

That pic was when me and Mick were dieting, since then we let ourselves go ;).....People from FL and NJ have always been interchangeable...We see PA folks as just a bunch of wetbacks crossing our border to earn a real wage!....

Well looks like rain for the next 4-5 days and cooler temps. Gots ta say tough the new tarp has not let me down. Not a drop in the boat. So I'll be able to get some done with heat lamps.
Go Eagles!!
