im really sorry i didnt get back to you on your question you asked on my post....man in so sorry i didnt see it....ok what ondarvr said is what ....as you know..is the "gospel"....

in a regular re-fit peanut butter is just fine.....there is some variables i need ed to consider in mine...

but what you want to do is just bed the durn things.....

ive....(like eric) have done some research... pl9000 ..preimum...is not that much differerent than 5200....in fact may be better....but..... its poly based...that means poly on poly..........rvr...may say different. but he has the last word..........(forget me...he knows)

and....we gotta figure out how to party.......lets do this......pm me on how and where.....sometime

The progress looks great. It was a good day to be doing fiberglass work yesterday in Michigan, it almost reached 60 here in GR .

The bedding material isn't all that critical, it's just needed to keep the stringer off the hull and many small boat builders don't use any thing at all.

Thanks ondarvr , they didnt use any bedding in mine it was resined right to the hull , when I was grinding the old glass and resine out I was still grinding wood out. Thanks John

Hay Ooops dont worrie about it, I new you were busy with your baby !!! Didnt i read you got her moved ?? to a tent in your driveway ??? how are you keeping it heated ?? and yea we got to party ???? almost wanted to tell yea that I would go party with your girl when she was over this way but didnt know how you would take that !!! I would have my wife with meee !!!! hahahahhaha She was only like 4 hours away !!! but really we do have to get together someday !!! here in a few year we are heading out that way!!! we bought a new travel trailer last summer , that why i got the used boat !!!!!!!

thats our newest toy !!!! no more tents for meee !!!!! lol plus dont ondarvr live out your way?? I am going to owe him a few also !!!!!! John

i might be going to niagra falls area soon for the canadian all star football game....its my buddies draft year.....

gonna take my mom.....she wants to see the states side of the falls

You kidding? I've been to Niagara 4 times, the Canadian side is 500% better than the US side.

The Canuks had some foresight there. Nice park, clean, buildings are held back on the hillside.

The US is crammed and dirty and cluttered. Everyone tried to build as close as they could. Personally, I think the US side should be completely bulldozed and redone. The street layout is for crap. Let alone the 60 year old (or older) buildings that have been milked to death. We stay overnight on the US side, because of the taxes, maybe eat over there too, but the Canadian side is the only side to tour IMO.

Was just there last summer.... What a mess on the US side. Half the streets closed for water or sewer or pavement work. Total congestion.

HAHAHAH i said the same thing , I didnt even read your post yet just hit the reply , I totally agree It stinks on the stated side !!! I havent been there in 9 years and the streets were tore up then !!!!! we did do some shopping on the state side in that mall !! but other then that we hedded to new york !!! It is cool to drive over the bridge !!! but other then that !!!!!John

OOOHHHH MAN it was one of them days !!!! well it stared last night when i was reading on a transom storie , well they were talking 1 1/2 inch !!! and i was thinking why is mine allmost two inchs ??? well i did measure the old transom when i took it out !! 2 inchs !! well i go to thinking about it last night , it was bugging me couldnt fall asleep know i seen 3:30 tossing and turning , well when i got up , [ had the day off } well I got out there and had the kids out there we lowered the top down , and sure enough it was to thick !! when i took out the old transom I wasnt thinking about it , but it was water logged and swelled up !!! and that wasnt the worst part of the day yet , was backing up and had the shop vac in there , well steped on the hose and down i went !!!!!!!!!!! *#&^$%^#@**$&$#^^#*$&&*^ well when i went down hard I hit the brace holding the top up and landed on the top !!!!

Man it just s**ked my butt still hurts !!! so got to fix this to now !!!! what a day !!!! john

Ps got to get some new plywood , just one piece for the transom 3/4 John

Paint thats made out of rust? Why would you want to use paint thats made out of rust? that sounds kinda strange to me. Thats like using water to seal up wood.

HAHAHA had to wait for my butt to stop hurting !!!! lol As a mater of fact I was in her today !! More grinding , cut the second piece of plywood for the transom , go it drying, light and Fan going !!

Hay oops on the transom , I guess Its the canblio [ or how ever you spell it ] it on the transom and thats what i was grinding today , man that thing is uneven , got about 60 precent out , got it to where the glass is threw in a hole bunch of spots , its not going to hurt if i leave whats left !! I will get a pic later , heres one of the old ones ,

Ok what is that over the glass ?? and if you look close to the bottom is the same stuff , well all thats gone now and most of it on the transom . do you think it will hurt to glass right over it ?? then put the plywood in like you did ??

Ok couldnt get out there last week , had a wedding , my nephew , had a good time , paid for it sunday thoew !!! couldnt wait to get out there today !!!

Ok what the heck is that stuff on the transom , it was ruff grinding !! John
