Seats are gunna look great in the boat. Guess surging the pump didn't work. You might try disconnecting the fitting from the front of the pump and running the garden hose down as far as you can and then seal the pipe with a towel around the hose and see if if will reverse blow out the obstruction. If you have a lot of 90? joints then prolly not much you can do. Do you know a Nurse or a Dr. that you can borrow a Stethascope from. You can sometime LISTEN and hear gurgling at the point of an obstruction.

The seats look like they came from the factory.
They really look great. I'm with JB, the white pipping does a great job in setting off the colors.
Can't wait to see them in the boat.

Hope you get the swiming pool problem fixed quickly.

Yep the white piping looks good and it will match the white vinyl edge molding that will run along the bottom edge of the top cap inside the cockpit area .
And if I can,t fix my pool I guess these guys could use a bigger tank !

Oscars :) I moved just as mine outgrew their tank. Went to a co-worker w/ an empty 75gal  Had 'em for years, from 1" to almost 9.5".

Really interesting fish. They'd ignore my roommate, but go nuts popping the surface of the water when I walked in the room. He who brings the food is king I guess;)

Yep , my son forgot to feed them for a couple of days and when my wife tried to feed them they would just lay on the bottom playing dead ..
When she walked out of the room they came alive and ate the food . She walked back in and they would lay on the bottom again .. LOL !

Not to much going on this weekend . Had to work all day yesterday . But I did manage to get the air hole grommets installed on the seat backs . Don,t let those little things fool ya . They were kinda a real pita ! Maybe it was my elcheapo grommet pliers ...

Anyway on a much cooler note my most wonderful, thrifty , thoughtful ,and beautiful wife scored something I needed/ wanted for the boat on fleebay ! Nothing major but none the less pretty cool .. I,ll post some pics when it comes in..
Gotta feed the hamster need to start building seat bases. I also need to make a to do list so I can focus on getting done ..

Had to use a grommet to make the hole then clamp in a new one ..

Re: MFG rebuild getting started pics

I got the hinge pieces all cut out for the seats . Still need to clean them up then figure out the nuts and bolts to put them together with ..
I was thinking on painting them but I don,t know how well the paint would hold up ..

My original cleats are painted aluminum . I guess I can prepare them the same the same way as the gunnel trim I already painted . My tractor paint should hold up for a while I guess unless anyone has a better alternative. Maybe something from a rattle can ?
