Not sure what it may do to vinyl, but acetone has always erased all of my sharpie marks (I.e. those I did not want to erase)...

Seats look shizzle!

The Admiral should be very proud. Not sure what you should use to clean the vinyl with but whatever you do try it on scrap first.
The seats are looking great.

Cheap Hair Spray. Follow up with WD-40 and a Tooth Brush. Finish with Vinyl Cleaner and Conditioner.

Great Vid. Jethro Tull amazing.
You may want to try some finger nail polish remover before the acetone. It's not as strong. Home Depot sells a product made by ZEP and is call Purple Degreaser. I have used this on all types of things and it will remove the ink but not sure about what it will do to the vinyl.
Do a google on it.

Now, you've gone and done it. Made a video to my All Time Favorite music, Jethro Tull, Locomotive Breath, R U Kidding Me!!!!!! and the sewing is good too!!!! Seems, like I've seen those clips somewhere before...Well I guess I'll have to keep coming back to see what you got up your sleeve for next time.

Re: MFG rebuild getting started pics

Those seats are looking good sp ...... I want to redo mine and you make it look so easy but I know with my clumsy fingers that it would be a struggle ... lol. You and Woody sure have it figured out. I can't wait to see her on splash day ... starting to look like a cover shot for the calendar. Great job!
