Congrats on the trailer being complete GT.

I really do like the way the bunks turned out. Gives it some style and flair, just like you have....

Have a good weekend. May you have more than enough helpers to get the hull nestled in there.

Lookin good Gus! I sure do like those beveled bunks. Hey, that stand looks mighty familiar :) I believe that's the iBoats standard boat builders special

I'll give ya a call this weekend.

Great job on the trailer. You'll be really glad to have that all done when it comes time to finish up the boat. I wasn't quite so smart and had a finished boat on a non-road ready trailer and had to scramble to get it fixed up so I could launch.

Thanks Craig, ...and Yes, the stand is directly from the Iboats special, just slightly modified to fit my needs...holler whenever...

Thanks S.P.
The tower is definitely in need of some pieces parts...the powerhead is in South Carolina, getting redone by Clams Canino and waiting for fundage from my part, along with all the other bits and pieces scattered throughout my house...

Re: Love, Necessity and Pride

And now for the big reveal...

Can you say perfect?...

I couldn't wait any longer and decided to try and get this thing on the trailer for a test fit, sooooo....

I started by sliding the hull back on a little homemade dolly and removing most of the hull supporting structure...

Then I got my neighbor to pull out the last supporting piece, while I lifted the hull and set it on the trailer...

Then a simple little push and it was sitting on it's new ride like it was nobody's bizzzness...

I didn't get pics of the transfer, since most of it was done by yours truly, but I did get some of it after the Bassassin was sitting on its new ride...

Looks great man, but if I knew you were just going to put a boat shaped hot tub on it, I would have just suggested a dolly to cart it around the yard, lol :D

Congrats! That looks like a great fit. I noticed you ground the rivet holes from the rub rail and the transom holes, whats the plan there? Are you going to fiberglass over those areas? The re-drill?

Thanks V...Yes, They are all getting faired out for refilling and redrilling... where necessary, I will fill with PB +, and/ or 1708/CSM...I will also be adding a strip of fiberglassed plywood tabbed in, as a backer for the rubrail screws...

How I wish...

Nice job.... Now get crackin on the glassin'....

.... Seeing that boat without its guts really shows you how wide a beam (relative to height) those bass boats have...

Look forward to the next steps
