The flats look pretty good the small 1x cross boards have there share of air bubbles. But I figured where they are placed and being as the originals had nothing I am not going to get nuts over it

Are you tuggin and pullin the glass to loosen it up a bit before you try to lay it over the radius?

I have this in spots on my dried fiberglassed pieces its not as bad as it looks in photo I super zoomed. These are the gas tank bulk heads that will be tabbed in with 2 coats of 1708 over it. What is the cause and in this instance can I go over it or does it need redone. It is not raised

I don't say this very often to newb's but...More Resin!!!! It's dry on top. Maybe due to over rolling it.
Let's review.
Coat the wood with resin. Once it's Tacky Re-Coat with resin and then lay the mat on top of the wet wood and roll the mat into the wet wood starting from the middle and work towards the edges. I like to use a bubble roller to force the resin into the mat from the bottom up and work out air in the beginning. I then use a short nap roller to roll additional resin into the mat from on top again from the middle out. Once the mat goes Clear I stop. No more rolling necessary. No more figeting. Nada!!! Done!!!
I'd roll a thin coating of resin on that and call it good.

I agree with Woody, looks too dry...if you can pull up that corner I see in the upper left...I would guess it isn't sufficiently protected against water intrusion...
Hopefully it is no too much real estate that is like that, but it seems to me that it would definitely be a candidate for being redone...
If it is only a section of it that looks that way, you can just grind the bad away and re-do that section only...
Follow Wood's procedure^^^^above and you should not have any further issues...
Oh and don't feel too bad, I have had my share of "Failures to properly laminate"...all due to errors on my part...
Carry On!:D

That's what mine looked like when I wasn't wetting out the wood sufficiently before applying the glass. In my case, I think the wood sucked up the resin and left the voids. I started letting the resin soak in more, in some instances lowering the %age of MEKP to slow down the curing process so the resin could penetrate, and it stopped doing that.

Thanks gt yeah its only about 2"x2" section ill grind that out redo Looks larger then it is I super zoomed so you guys can see better.
Thanks jas I know you guys are right I will slow down a little and let the resin soak in better. I was actually wetting it out with resin and basically adding my csm trying to go to fast

Would look great with the straps over top. I must say I'm just coming across this thread and I've taken many great pointers from you folks. Will you fabricate some way to still have access through the deck?

The lines in red represent the cross braces that carry the deck. Would sandwiching blue foam strips under them work to hold the fuel tank in
