I read your WHOLE thread over the past seven days, Wow! Nice work, great attention to detail, and lots of ingenuity. With that said, I'll stick to my tinny....for now! Can't wait to see it done. It really looks great so far.

The story of Grassy and Ebbs

Back yard says to boat: Oh, I have missed you so much. I thought I had lost you forever. I am but a big empty space without you!

Boat says to back yard: I have not left you yet. I simply wanted to get all decked out for our last date.

Back yard says: My love for you will always be true. I remember when we first met. Others saw you as a mere heap of scrap. I always saw you as the most beautify hull in town.

Boat to back yard: Oh Grassy, you are too kind to an old gal like me. Thank you so much. I have really enjoyed the days and nights we have shared. I will remember you forever.

Back yard to boat: Ebbs, I too have enjoyed our time together. Go now, into the yonder and never look back.

LMAO. See what happens when I am left home alone? Your boat is sure looking Purty!;)

OH BOY:facepalm:

Don't strap her down to tight, just a snugg.Don't wanna cause a hull hook after all that work.

If you can get the back edge of the bunks under the edge of the transom, you should be good...

What 6-8" further forward?

Ya that is about how far to edge of bunks, but less to the center of that roller...and I don't have the winch installed yet...so no way to move it now...

Got a strong ratchet strap handy? hook one end to the tongue and the other to the bow eye...maybe?

The Ebko is looking anxious to travel all bundled up and snugged down...

Thanks for dropping by, I, too am getting a little excited to see it put back together...:)

Re: '78 Ebko Lebaron - Therapy

I wasn't aware I could do that...better go check...thanks ben...

You're welcome.I've seen it happen before. It's easier to cause it when the back of the hull is loaded up with all the drive train. It's best to keep the rear hull completely on the bunks. When my boats are setting,I always loosen the straps.I know that when I get ready to go out with the boat again,I'll double check everything before setting out.
