How's the tin boat market in Duncanville?

If you consider a 14' flat bottom tiny a boat then I guess there are a few around.

On the other hand, I have a 16' skeeter that I plan to cut in half both ways. Make a 22 footer by 8' wide. It's only 5' wide now.
Will this qualify to keep me out of the Werido camp.

Thanks SP..agreed..will need something....course it will look a little different once it is sanded/buffed and has the trimmings attached...FatFanny suggested decals...that might help too...

Veterans Day 2012 update...


First I want to take a moment and say THANKYOU! to all verterans. I take great pride in being a veteran myself.



Warnings of bad weather have kept me from doing any spraying on the deck...I wanted to, in a bad kinda way..the floor is so dirty from the half cured gel...I wanted to get some acetone wipe it down as best I could then spray over it...but I'll wait for better weather...


So...I had to do something to keep busy...
No more boat...

I must give you a great big THANK YOU Trooper82 and all the rest of the Veterns who have Proudly served.

I'm just not sure I'm looking in the right backyard. No signs of any kind of boat.

How did the gelcoat do on the cap? Did all of it setup like it should?

well, I spent 2 years in Fairbanks, AK ...not so sure I would agree that air doesn't freeze....but it for sure won't crack a block if it does...I like the idea...but worry that I might leave some water trapped in the water jackets..I'll look into it..thanks FF!

AK? Well what are you worried about, winter in PA is like Summer in AK!

There is room for another boat in that yard!

The Ebko is safely nessled on her trailer...Just moved it to keep a limb from faling on it....if it got as bad as the weatherman said it might get...out of town this next week, so no more boat work for a little while...I'm bummed too...

Jonesing for an Ebko fix. The shakes & withdrawl are going to be a bee-otch until the Ebko's tucked into the new digs....
