I pack a bunch of stuff (tubes, life jackets, canvas etc) in the back storage area under my sundeck. I never liked having stuff sitting on top of my dirty battery and trim pump. I found a cheap black plastic milkcrate at Walmart and I cut it a bit to straddle my cables/hoses. It just sits on top of my battery and pump and allows me to throw whatever I want back there without any worries about damage to wiring or getting things dirty. Pretty simple.

What stainless steel cup holders did you order? I wanted to order some for my boat off of EBay, but it seemed like all the ones I found had larger cutout dimensions.

Got my stainless cup holders.... They fit perfect. Look much nicer than the stained white originals.

What is that other mini in there?

There is my MiniMax "ultralight" that I built way back in '94 hanging from the ceiling. Also have a 90% done 90% to go DR107 One Design aerobatic plane in there.... Don't know if I will ever finish it. Lol

It’s crazy how the little things like cup holders can make such a big difference. I’m ordering some tonight.

Trailer nearly done.... Just have to paint wobble roller brackets. I used Valspar Oil based tractor type paint with some activator and rolled it most places and then used some gloss black spray paint on some of the tighter areas. Might order some new fancy wheels too as my painted original steel wheels still look pretty nasty. I also got two new Shoeland'r stickers for the sides that I will put on once the paint gets harder. Not too bad for a weekend project.

Looks awesome! I'm jealous lol.. I want to paint my trailer to make it look all fancy but its galv steel which takes a bunch of prep work and etching primer and all kinds of crazy stuff to make it stick.

Got my wobble wheel assemblies tore apart and repainted. Reassembled them with new galvanized carriage bolts and then put them back on the trailer. Also got my new wheels/tires from the UPS man today. This 20+ year old trailer is gonna be good as new. Today the UPS man is going to bring my two new brake assemblies. Boat should splash in pond Friday or Saturday for trailer swapping and initial startup and then go to the river for it's first real use on Sunday.

Nice work Tim! Quite an impressive overhaul on the trailer in such a short time.

Trailer is about done.... Ended up getting new wheels and brake assemblies. Shoreland'r is sending me some new decals next week. Still have to fit my front mini bunks and my side guide bunks which I will do tonight when boat is going onto the trailer. Trailer looks a lot better than it did and should not need anything for quite a while.

Splashed 6/15/18! I put the boat in the pond to test her out and swap trailers last night. Boat started instantly (I squirted some gas down the carb first as my tank had been empty). Took her out for a couple laps of the pond then beached her to swap trailers. No leaks and all seems well. Doing a little buffing today before my race tonight then taking the family to the Maumee River tomorrow. Still have a few things I want to do to her but she is usable again! 06_15_18_11_02_12_IMG_20180615_174134784_HDR.jpg
