Has anyone have any experience with a j marine welding in Florida. They build outboard brackets.

Ok so after some more research I changed my mind again.
My new plan is single 225 250 on a jack plate and a kicker on a jack plate.
I'll go 15 to 20 hp on kicked and if anything unfortunate happens that should get me home .

May I ask why a jackplate for the kicker??

Ease of mounting basically.

It should be relativity easy,............

If you get a kicker with power trip and tilt you shouldn't need to add anything else,...

If you get a kicker without trim and tilt then I would recommend an after market trim tilt from cmc or panther,....

Its bolted on through the top 2 holes on each side
