Re: 1976 22' Starcraft Islander Rebuild
Yah, I have had plenty o wire pieces sticking in my crevices from jobs like these, I am with ya.
Gander sells that Bert's rigging for $10 more across the board.
Well, I do have a fair amount of black Pro Rustoleum in the paint can from the last utility trailer I did and I have about 6 spray cans of the Pro Rustoleum in white from the last boat trailer that I did. I'd say about even on that one, eh.
Good point HA! The black disappears in the water while the white I could still see. Yur a thinker man!
I do like the idea of a white trailer under a white hull too...
OK, white trailer it is
Wire wheels suck when you have that much to do. They fall apart and the wires will stick in your skin, I know.As far as northwoods they have brought up their prices to retail on almost everything in the fishing department.
But the inline off shore boards are $18.99, a buck cheaper than at Franks. Both places are still way cheaper than Gander mountain.

I would paint the trailer what ever color is the cheapest of the two.![]()

I would go with white or grey, whatever matches the hull. Bright colors are better for trailers so that you can see it easily. Less kicking it and easier launching![]()
