Re: I Paid $4.42 for Gas! I'm mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore!
Couple of comments... First off, pay $120 for a nice 18 gal or larger self pumper on wheels and roll it down to the boat for those that don't have 70 gallon tanks, and Secondly, for those complaining about the oil companies, you can thank the Gov't ( US specifically ) for taxing your gasoline, and they want to tax it even more ( Hillary not only wants to tax gas more, but she wants to TAKE oil profits from the oil companies to spend on her own whims, not to mention your local representatives edging for extra gov't income ).
The Oil companies make about .08/gallon profit, the gov't is getting .40/gal without having to put anything into processing, discovery, plant maintenance or dealing with restrictive EPA controls.
You can thank the tree huggers and local municipalities for no new refineries...no one wants the stink that comes with them, and the tree huggers don't want anyone to break soil period.
Last I heard, the US was built on companies that worked FOR PROFIT, and if any company tries to charge exorbitant prices, either someone else will come in and sell for less, or the company will sell less product. It's a consumer driven market, period.
