Have fun with the Youpers!

Bow rail looks great! Just a thought (you may already have thought of this): In addition to the screw holes, you may want to mark where the fittings meet with the rail itself, maybe sharpie or tape. I know that re-doing the screws (after paint) will probably bring you back into alignment, but it may be easier to find that sweet spot (without accidentally forcing something) if you have the exact spaces for the rail supports already marked.

Take care; have fun, enjoy some time on the Nymph.

Rail is looking good, and I agree, I like the end hanging out.

Carpet: After having it in my jet and using it for 1.5 seasons, never again.

feels nice on the toes, but it holds everything in... + I glued mine down

It is either U.P. ~ Upper Peninsula of MI's 'thumb' or headed up the peninsula's thumb from the other lower parts of MI....

ooooh BUUUUUURN!!

That rail really looks cool Jason. I've been wanting one too, but my wife is against it, so I don't think it's gonna happen.

Thanks fellas, appreciated! That rail really gives the boat some great character, I'm darn happy with it. Kind of a bummer but the rail came back off this morning. It'll be a while before it goes back on permanently, oh well, I'll get there.

Why don't you assert your dominance in the home man? Around my place I run the show, I state the law, what I say goes!

We really need a like button on this website! When I purchased my Bayliner the PO had taken the bow rails off (with a hacksaw I might add) but as luck would have it, he still had it behind his shed. It just looked like something was missing, because it was! The rail was missing some parts and he had twisted it moving it around, so even though it was originally on the boat it was still a pain to get everything lined back up. I know the time it took to get one fitted on the Islander from scratch must have been lengthy. Looks really good.

Awesome Jason;Absolutely awesome. Love the overall outcome with your bow rails. And yes, know exactly how you feel about carpet. That pretty much sums up my feelings on subject. The video was a super nice idea, felt as though was there. Sure hope things keep unfolding well for you my friend.:thumb:

There is. At the top right of every page under the page count in a thread is a "rate this thread". Not only can you "like", you can also say how much from terrible to excellent.

Like I like Jasons new rails. Looks like they mirror the rake of the cabin roof back to the stern. :thumb:

I really do like that look of the rails, sharp and classy, just like Starcraft owners. Now I have to go and add another "to get" on my Chief list.
