As a former lifeguard I say...THANK YOU! If those kids learn how to swim then lifeguards will be able to do their job more easily and efficiently

The rig looks nice all cleaned up, what colors are you thinking about going with?

Yah, I asked the lady at the Dollar Tree how many colors they had as I was looking for more than what EZ had - yah they knew who you were there. A photo of your boat was up on the wall.

You betcha, got some for fat guys, skinny guys, guys with big tackle boxes, guys who barf on boats, and extra special ones for guys who bring brownies on board for long fishing days on the water! Pretty well got it covered.

Yah, I am with ya. Used to lifeguard at the local water park. Every time the wave machine came on kids were drowning. Rescues helped the day go by quicker - lot of paperwork though.

Yup! Mentioned that a little ways back. I pretty well decided that it would be white on white the day I decided it would be an IO. I am thinking classic, sorta like this...

#5. Washdown on that old dog looks good. White on White is a good choice, very classy.

Finally got some good weather her. Every time I was tempted to start mine up we got a freeze. I/o's a frozen water don't mix. I don't have any excuses now.

Glad to see no cows were injured in the making of this Starcraft!

Well I am sure of a couple of things and still thinking on other stuff...

For sure the seats will be white. I am planning to recover those seats I stole from Thumper myself (yet to be acquired skill). The side panels will be white pleated vinyl.

The cabin walls and other interior trim will be wood. I have several interesting options there and that will be decided in due time. I have a local mill that I have worked with in the past, great guys and they have interesting stuff on hand sometimes.

The deck is a toss up at this point. I sort of like the idea of no carpet with non skid surface/painted. I am thinking either white or gray. I think white would be cool but may show shoe scuffs, fish blood, and the like, easily. Going gray painted, non skid would help on that some.

But, I also like the idea of a nice thick, heavy duty, marine grade, charcoal gray carpet too. Super comfortable for the kids and that sort of thing. She'll be a trailer queen too. Well I have lots of time to sort that out yet, we shall see.

Heck no you don't have any excuses I actually set up the slip and slide today in the back yard for the kiddos today! Yah, no kiddin! They played in the thing for hours! So yah, get to work man! Cheers!

Get that idea right out of your head. If you go carpet (and I don't recommend you do) definitely do not get a dark color. I had navy in my Jupiter and hated it. It was always filthy. I could carefully clean the whole boat and the first time I stepped into it from the ground...looked like heck. Go beige or light gray. But I think a light gray non-skid would also look very nice with all the white.

Sorry to take a while to get to this... Jas, I reckon #5 is definitely the best looking and will give you heaps of bum space for the family in the back! Great job mate! Agree with Ez about carpet colour too... light gray blends with everything colour-wise and hides all manner of sins...

I sure hope the lot of you guys will still be iboat buddies with me when I decide not to got with that #5 option for the gunwales.

Oh well, at least Hope She Floats will still stop by.

I'm on the fence on the whole carpet v. non skid deck - glad I have plenty of time to decide on that one. Man I have a long way to go before I can start working on deck finishing material!

The snap in carpet like MTribe got is a great compromise. Can be taken out on fishing days. I really like the berber he got.
