My bad I forgot to include that step. I slapped four heavy coats of wax on. I did a test run on a scrap piece of wood with some CSM and it came right off with only one coat of wax. I just checked a minute ago and it's peeling away perfectly. :)

My video camera is garbage but I do have a USB scope that shoots video. I'll try hooking up the laptop out there to satisfy your cravings.

Nice looking work, I'm looking forward to hearing how the Ajar stuff works. Seacast was great for me, but a bit pricey....but worth it.

Thanks Arch. :) I did a bunch of research and I guess the Arjay pours a little easier than the rest. That and the price was my main motivator.

Finished the inside of the template tonight. Going to let it setup until tomorrow and start pulling and prodding the form out.

Pop goes the weasel!!! The form came right out. I used the sawzall with a metal blade to cut through the screws on the cross sections. Removed those first, and then the just lifted from the rear and out it came.

I think it turned out pretty good so far.

Then I took measurements on each end of the stringer and snapped a line. I accounted for an additional 5/8" for the deck. I'm using 1/2" ply for the deck and adjusted for the thickenss of the future glassing.

I'm going to cut everything down before finishing the channels. Small layups are so much easier to work with.

looks good, same way I did min, but I used foam. I used a die grinder to cut mine off, it might make a straiter cut if you have one.

Thanks Arch. I'm not too worried about the small imperfections. Everything will smoooth out when I grind down the edges after the Arjay is poured.

I cut the stringers a little lower to allow for the top glass. I was thinking of going CSM, roving, roving. Will this work ok? Or should I go CSM, roving, CSM, roving. I've read people doing it both ways.

I actually used 3 layers of 2oz CMS,and have had great luck. It got pounded several windy days last year and held up fine. rolling CMS that heavy over the corners is a little tough unless you radius them with a sander.

Ok cool, so the strength I'm thinking will be more than fine. How about the layup schedule? Can I lay down cloth over cloth? Or should I stagger with CSM ya' think?
