I'm kinda stoked right now!!! I just got off the phone with a LoneStar boat Old Timer that told me my boat was an all fiberglass boat except for the transom. Said it would last forever!!! Guess MFG was not the only company to do that back in the day. I guess the BF will be around for a while. Not much work on the boat lately, she's all covered for Winter. VW Bus and Old Canned Ham Camper been keepin me busy though.

LL, Right back atcha buddy!!! As soon as the Land Schooner Projects get completed and I get all the little odds and ends finished up on the BF, I told the Admiral I was going to Give my Son the BF and buy another Glass hull, only this time I was gunna rip the cap off and throw it away and do what I said I was gunna do 3 years ago...Build my Namesake...Wood On Glass boat. I figure that'll be a couple more years, almost retirement age and I hope the Good Lord allows my health to stay good so I can "Git er Dun!" before I get decrepid and layed up. I want it to look like this...

When I opened the deck up on mine, I was happily surprised to see no wood stringers either, and while mine is 1-2 years away from yours, I think they are the same hull except I have a small hatch in my bow. The Fleetwood doesn't have much information to read on and was only made for a short time. One day mine will float and fly just like yours.
