    Looking for a clean 19

Anybody got a line on a clean 19? I sold mine a while back....silly me. I'd like to find another one. I don't mind a bit of a project, but not looking to resurrect one with both feet in the grave.

    V215 - Vagabond hatch covers

I have an opportunity to pick up a 74 model Vagabond; a boat that I have wanted for many years. It appears to be in good condition with the exception of the forward hatch covers. Anybody know where I can get a set?

    show your aristocraft pics

Re: show your aristocraft pics I finally took some on water pics while out on Wedowee yesterday and thought I would share. Wish I had thought to get a couple "underway" shots. They always look so cool. If you are looking to buy an A-Craft check out my listing at...

    Fuel Tank Replacement

Re: Fuel Tank Replacement I cleaned mine out this year using a similar method described by "aristocraft" and it worked pretty well. The problem I found is that the tank appears to have internal baffles so it is difficult to determine if you got er done or not. I installed a clear - cleanable...

    19 mod pics

Hey Ho boaters. I thought you might like to see some of the modifications made to our 19 that I feel improve the utility of the boat. The swim platform is the most obvious mod and one that we have thoroughly enjoy. I finally got around to relocating the fuel tank vent. I never noticed how...

    1971 19 fuel guage woes

I don't imagine that I am the only one with a broken 40 year old fuel guage. I recently had the fuel tank out of my boat. I should have replaced the sending unit while I had it out, but it was working before taking it apart. I must have damaged it somehow. Anyway, anybody know where I can...

    fuel burp-1971 Nineteen

Recently finished cleaning out the fuel tank and re-routing my fuel vent hose/fitting to the left side just below the rub rail. What a joy that was. At least now it won't burp gas all over my swim platform. Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me.

    baby boats

My latest mods involved shifting the boat aft about 10 inches on the trailer, lengthening the drive support, and adding platforms at the front of the trailer to haul the Jet Ski's. I also relocated the anchor light over to the right side just forward of the aft cleat and added a ski pylon.

    19 mods - swim platform

Re: 19 mods - swim platform and other stuff Re: 19 mods - swim platform and other stuff Here are some more pics of my platform project. I have also included a pic of a tool I made. It was original made to stir paint, but I have found it shreds foam with ease. I just keep the shop vac...

    19 mods - swim platform

Re: 19 mods - swim platform and other stuff Re: 19 mods - swim platform and other stuff When I cut the plugs out the foam at the top was pretty wet. So..... I took a piece of 3" tubing and cut a hole all the way to the hull. The foam felt cold, but I couldn't really wring any water out of...

    19 mods - swim platform

Re: 19 mods - swim platform and other stuff Re: 19 mods - swim platform and other stuff In the process of replacing the carpet, I noticed that the glass over the "foam holes" was cracked....not good. After a good bit of soul searching and little exploratory surgery I decided that whatever...

    19 mods - swim platform

Winter being project time and all; I have embarked on a couple of mods. This first set is of the brackets I have fabricated to attach a swim platform. Obviously, forming them to fit the multiple curves of the stern was quite a challenge. The shop press helps.

Found a really clean looking 19 for sale

1972 AristoCraft 19 Foot 1972 AristoCraft 19' Foot Runabout I am thinking of bidding on this one myself. It sounds almost too good to be true. If it weren't a 13 hour drive from my house it would already be in my driveway. Item Location: Michigan City, IN, United States Time left: 1...

    Electronic ignition

Howdy folks, I just wanted to share my experience (so far) with my new E-ignition. I recently installed a "Hot Spark" ignition kit. It took me about a half-hour to install and it works great. My boat starts like it is fuel injected-hot or cold- and runs smoother than it ever has. I will try...

    New 1971 9-teen owner

I just purchased my 9-teen this month and I love it! Scott was kind enough to show me around the factory/museum recently and it was very interesting. I'll be going back with a camera.
