New fuel lines on inboard tank cannot prime!

I found on mine that the primer bulb had to be held with the arrow pointed up to work. I replaced it with a more expensive setup and now no issues.

    Humility

Dang. I was watching but didn't see that. To many distractions at the cabin.

    Part Identification

For a seven-year-old boat, that looks horrible. Time to clean it up, check it completely and service whatever needs replacement. That much fuel leaking is a timebomb waiting to go. Do not use it till it's fixed.

    2021 Tahoe T18 floor storage won’t drain

Yeah, even in a new boat there is lots of debris left over from manufacturing. I've had to take apart one sailboat that had a leaky diesel tank, located under the floor. The sawdust, cut off wire ends, small pcs of wood and other junk was what caused a spot to corrode trough. Others when...

    Laceyville on a fishfinder?

I'd imagine they would have taken the buildings down so debris wont float away causing damage to boaters or plugging up the dam.

    Anti-Rattle solutions

I'm thinking of drilling a hole in the bottom of the hitch receiver, weld a nut to it put in a bolt and snugging it up to take up slack. It may work or not. Nothing lost nothing gained.

Are wheel locks the way to go?

had one in town years ago that had the electric winch stolen in the middle of the day. The owners came back and wanted to load the boat, no winch. Others were there that said it was a red truck, two guys got out and unbolted it, the others that were there just thought it was being taken off for...

    2021 Tahoe T18 floor storage won’t drain

Not the same boat, but mine wouldn’t drain, I could poke the hole, nothing worked. I ended up poking from the engine room up fwd, then the debris came out and drained.

Inspecting fuel lines before you become one

Whats left of a local boat when it fueled up. Don't exactly know what caused it but it was fuel related. Stb motor wouldn't start. So he tried the port motor. Boom. Nobody hurt luckily.

    Engine Fire

Wow, glad you got the fire out. Most cases you end up bailing out of the boat and watch it burn while you swim for help. Yet another reason to carry an extinguisher.

    Water in my bilge

Several ideas here are good. Transom bolts, drain plug, ect. Another thing could be the steering pin. At rest some are under water and will leak.

    Wood rot HELP

Put it like it was, if not better. If you want to add more support, go for it,just don’t block access for later.

Does anyone have experience with “Race only” push to start system install,

It's much easier to install an ignition switch. Another small panel for the accessories.

    Causes for concern?

Agree with all the above, if the exhaust bellow is that bad the rest are not far behind.

Water in bilge? Bilge pump runs too often.

I personally don’t care for sierra. Having worked with them parts 15-17 years ago, they were not good. I know some of their parts have improved over time but if I need parts that are reliable, I go to quicksilver.

    Leaking Fuel Sender

They do make rubber fuel proof gaskets also. The cork ones are fine, so are the rubber ones. I actually have a couple spares from when I worked at a marina and had to replace senders. The new ones come with a gasket, but the old rubber gaskets were good. So being who I am, I saved them.
