Just bought new motor and flushed out inboard gas tank and replaced fuel lines. I have a new primer bulb but cannot prime the fuel lines it just keeps pumping and pumping any tricks I can try?
If the water separator is empty, it can be real hard to prime. Fill it with fuel. Also fill the primer bulb with fuel. They are not very good at pumping air.
Bulb is on the correct way. The water seperator is empty so i will try filling it up. What about unhooking the line right at the tank and pump gas through it from there. then hook it back up and run the motor to prime the pick up tube from the tank?
