    The lower unit has small holes for the drippins to exit the motor. Make sure they are clear.

    Some times they added a booster spring to help deliver fuel? If it came with the spring? reuse it. I had a pair of 88/85's and a bunch of 125's 120's they all didn't have the spring, the only time I saw the spring was on a 150

    Yes retest and if possible do a pressure and a vacuum test. Some test ok under pressure then when get hot they can suck in water as the temp goes up and down. Most times a pressure test and new seals can fix the problem and finding a vacuum pump can be expensive.

    The area next to the plugs runs the hottest. When checking temps??? check all over the head and sides where the water passages are.

    Called an equalizer tube. It equalizes the pressure/air flow between the carbs. Really doesn't do all that much but it makes it run different when not installed.
