Leg Length 1989 Force 85HP

Hello,
how can I know the length of the Leg of my outboard, or what is required for my boat.
The outboard is a 1989 85HP serial 856X9F. The boat is a 1989 Bayliner Capri 1750.
I'm looking for ourboards in case I'm not able to rebuild mine.

Transom height 15 in short leg, 20 in long leg and 25 in X-long leg.
Your Bayliner Capri is for a long leg or X-long leg.

transom measures 20", so that means I need a long leg motor 20" I guess?

Yes.

The 85 90 120 125 150 all came in 2 lengths.
20 and 25 inch.
Google measuring transom for motor length.
