Okay, okay so I'm not a rocket scientist. <br /><br />I'm an executive director and run a small private non-profit dedicated to preventing the needless loss of sight through free programs and services. You might not know that over 60% of blindness is preventable.<br /><br />It's primarily a volunteer organization who's mission is to screen, detect and treat vision problems before its too late. We also provide free eye exams and glasses to the needy. And, free training and certification to school nurses and volunteers to perform vision screenings in day-cares, schools, businesses and at community health fairs.

I'm an electrical design/applications engineer for a meter manufacturer. <br /><br />I wanted to say "Burger flipper", but seeing LF fessed up, I thought I would walk the straight and narrow as well. <br /><br />Astro-physicist LF? Say that five times fast

I work in the powerhouse of a papermill, so I am not an expert at anything. It's kinda nice though, cause if you can mechanic, then people are wanting something all the time. But us papermakers, well they just know that we cann't do much of anything else at all.<br />Serious, we run the largest bark burning boiler in the US. Most of the time I work in the water treatment plant for the mill water where we treat 30 million gallons of raw river water a day. Apppx. 22000 gallons a minute. We basically just take the color out of the water and send it to the mill. Great job, down there by yourself, no finer job has ever been made for the graveyard shift!

And, ain't NOBODY got connections at DSS for a clearance!! Tookm e two years to get mine, almost anyway...one year, and 7 months to be exact...and found out that it had been sitting on someone's desk for 3 of those months waiting a signature...

Flat: So, what kinda stuff do you have access to? Just the info-tech on the equip they're designing? When I went to the MIlwaukee School of Engineering there were a couple companys that worked for the DoD at the job fairs. I thought it would be bad-a** to design tanks and stuff. I am an exterminator who is in training for law enforcement. I am also an artist, proficient in most mechanical repair, pretty darn good at construction, proficient in marksmanship (11 years in the military teaches you to shoot a thing or two), I can cut hair pretty darn good, can operate a decent aray of machinery and whatever I can't operate I can figure out quite quickly. Not too shabby at computer work. Also I have done a bit of work on a boat on occasion....
