That's a steel right there, you should buy that and flip it in the spring, I can see you putting at least a grand profit in your pocket.

Think it'll be enough to cover the medical bills...and replace the frying pan? Man, it's tempting though...nice trailer too!

Yea I think I would have to risk a fry pan or two for that one. It looks in pretty fair shape.

[h=2]Parting out 1986 Starcraft Islander (Kalamazoo)[/h]

The area code should be 269. If anyone is interested it is close by. Of course now it will be covered in snow.:blue:

86 model sure went to pot quick if it 'is a basket case' - but hull looks good and already demo'd

hmmm... He replied with a package amount (not parts) not too bad considering an 86 hull and some demo complete. I'll see what he says next.

I had sent a text asking the package deal but have not heard back.

What's the Sit-Rep Joe?

And this is probably a first for me: [h=2]Starcraft Center Console Aluminum V Deep Hull 16' Boat - $2500
A reasonably priced, well taken care of, water-ready boat, on a decent trailer, that actually appears to be exactly all that:[/h]

He's at $1100 for the whole thing. Motor out all looked good. I can post email if you would like. I like it, but about double high for me - and it's an I/O. If I'm going to do something really stupid like bring another boat home it has to be dirt cheap and and outboard. I might survive the frying pan as she would probably use a smaller one.

I emailed him just in case he said something like - 'come take the SOB thing away form me and I'll pay your $100'. Didn't happen.

You need to watch the Godfather Trilogy a few times, RNJ. Sharpen your negotiating skills and practice making an offer that can't be refused. :lol:
