Ga I think she may have a lot more damage than just that jacked up outboard bracket. Check out the windshield.

Carp I cant post the image for some reason. Any way it's bad.

Ofcourse any one of our skilled restorers wouldn't be phased by any of that severe hackery.

Here ya go, TN. I want to know what looks like inside under the damage. Only a 1500 buck boat at a dealer. I bet any reasonable offer would take her home. Dealer link, she's in IN. Only about 10 hours one way, TN. :D

Nice work around on the link GA. That bracket looks to be fine shape.;)

The bracket appears to be in fine shape for what looks like a small shop table with the casters taken off. Or did the casters rust off?

Well, Peter - I hung the stocking, put out cookies and milk. So I have time to kill before he crams a new boat in the stocking. LOL

Be very careful GA. It may end up being one like this, less the motor.:faint2: You know what free boats look like.

1978 Starcraft ss180 -- clean title -- needs gone - $500 (Columbus OH)

condition: fair

19 foot ALUMINUM bowrider i/o boat. Motor and drive (OMC 400 "stringer") ran well when winterized two years ago, controls work fine, but rivets have been popping out of the hull. Interior needs to be replaced, and rivets replaced as necessary. Comes with a steel trailer, perfectly fine.

Clean title. Restore it, part it, scrap it... I don't care. My buddy needs it out of his yard.

Make an offer or make me laugh, as long it's not in the same sentence.

No trades.

Sounds like a good opportunity for a project for someone.

Merry Christmas !

That one has been posted for sale for a few months now - not surprising - no takers at that price.

Yea, he has had that listed several times and probably will continue to do so. Not only is the boat butchered up and in bad shape but that trailer looks like it has seen its better days too. Now maybe someone with a lobotomy like the boat would pay that asking price.

Let's see - He bought it on April, 7, 1992. I'm sure he meant April 1st, but in almost 23 years he didn't learn a thing about it? I guess in those 23 years he can't even see the trailer is sagging on both ends. And he needs a grand out of it. 800 bucks in your pocket is 800 bucks better than a faded For Sale sign with a $1000 firm price tag.
