yes I was talking about the holes along the top of the gunwale ..... They HAVE to be there because the sides of the boat extend above the walkway and foredeck or otherwise rain or worse a stuffed wave would be funneled right onto the rear deck.... the ships have them too for the same reason, to drain water off the deck....

Watch an episode of the deadliest catch... every time a wave comes over the drains gush

Missed your earlier post...yep, that's gotta be it.

Hey WnW, I think the price on the Chief you listed is right, he just didn't explain:D the boat is $1000 and it's going to coat $7000 to move all the stuff out of the way to get it out of the barn;)

That would be a great Chief H20, but getting parts for that Olds would be next to impossible.

If it's setup for a jet, could it be an 'easy' swap to a more modern jet driveline?

Sort of like the 'plug the round hole and fab new stringers' OMC to Mercruiser swap, but maybe no plugging the hole 1st?

Not sure about that non-plane hull though on the old gal. I guess just you get there when you get there!

Says the guy w/ the fastest 18ft vintage cruiser plying the NW waterways :)

But, yeah, the Lone*Star truly is a CRUISER, and a master at that ;)

That is a lot of boat and would be a blast bringing that back to life. It kinda has a look of a war boat only needing outfitting with machine guns.

Peter the Cruise Master 26 was 21' long. The 26 is from the 26 HP Aerojet engine an I/O or inboard?

The one pictured is a Cruise Master and is an outboard model, Looks like it has the original Merc ToP.

I would love to see one that all original. Sleeping, cooking and head are all listed as equipment installed.

Every time I see a Cruisemaster I'm reminded of a Prohibition rum runner with the Coast Guard on her tail with twin 50's blazing. LOL

Lets just say that I wasn't around during that era, but some old timers in the family told tales. :D
