You might get lucky & find someone w/ a good plastic Starcraft logo that is remaking them in a mold pulled from their original. The last pair I saw were on ebay, they weren't inexpensive & 1 of the 2 had a letter that wasn't oriented correctly (if memory serves it was the T at the end of Starcraft, leaning backwards toward the F. The original they'd used as a mold probably warpped/twisted w/ age & they used it to make a mold anyway.
NorthBeach had someone digitize the logo and waterjet them out of aluminum or stainless (maybe both), but I don't know if they will still cut a set. They looked GREAT, but again were not inexpensive.
Someone in the last 2 days posted that they were going to have some one fab a set for them in aluminum too, using the 1 good copy they had. I can't remember off hand who that was, sorry. They might get a 2nd set for you. I'll try to come up w/ the thread....
You need a new bow end cap? Like 1 of the ones in the top row:
Is it cracked, missing a chunk or missing all together? Just like the transom end caps that MichaelP makes, if you have something for them to reference (including taking the boat to them to reference the bow directly) a fab/welding shop may be able to repair it or fab one out of sheet stock, fairly easily w/ the right tools.
Ebay will probably be your best bet, to 'find' one in good shape.
The pink/blue sheet insulation shouldn't be affected by water, even getting wet on a regular basis, unless it is left submerged for a very long time thru several freeze/thaw cycles. If you keep the boat covered & bow high when not in use, pull the drain plug after every use & maintain the deck & it's covering, you should have no worries or concerns about the condition of the sheet foam for a very, very long time. Bond-o or Bob_VT just posted on another thread in the last 2 days that they pulled a buried piece of sheet foam out of the ground after a very long time and it looked the exact same as it did the day it went in the ground. No water intrusion.
The benefits of NOT letting the boat fill & sit w/ water in it are numerous, keeping the foam dry and able to do it's job is only 1.
Sorry I've been hammered at work & can't come up w/ either thread from the last 2 days. If I find them, I'll post a link/quote here....
