Re: sasto needs our prayers
I assumed it's not completely illegal or inforced in parts of Florida. I saw some examples while visiting Key West and the state park beach 8 or 10 yrs. ago, hence the reply to " no reason at all ". Glad your havin fun enough for someone to call the cops!! I can't remember the last time that happened
Your right, mommicked. Some places it is looked over. I've been spending alot of time with my sister.....so that's not gonna happen!
sasto, it was good talking to you also, you sounded close to normal on the phone.
It was really nice to talk to you too, nlain. Thanks for the good advice you gave me.
For sasto, what would NORMAL be?????
aspec...normal is walking aroud with this perpetual smile for no reason at all. If only people knew what I am thinking.
You have a good point there aspeck.
So, you too, nlain.
Theres tremendous power when we all pray together
Yes there is, cls. I thank each and every one of you!
hey sasto, just signed for the first time in a long time and seen this thread. First - I am sorry to hear you had to go through all that again. Now - I would like to say I'm glad to hear the outcome of the treatment and wish you the very best moving into the future. From your friends up north here, (holding up my Adams) heres to you buddy. Happy boating!
Thanks, badkins. I think I will treat myself to an Adams myself today....It's about time.
I'm checking in again and hoping that all is well, Sasto.
Been having some health issues myself and had to get rid of the boats and most of the motors. Now I know what "feeling like a fish out of water" means! Its the pits!
That said, I did hang on to a couple of Johnson 33s that need rebuilding. I'm a stubborn old goat and can't bear to part with them 'cause they are just begging to be fixed and out on something. Hmmmmmmmm ,..... a twin engine "toon" for putting around the bayou?
Sorry to hear, Jay. May your health return to you......along with boats and motors.
Getting better everyday, kfa. Lots of work and lots of play. Been bike riding, walking the beach, and some kayaking in the Lost River. The kayaking was a hoot! We approached a rather large gator. The lady in the front of my kayak put the brakes on hard. She wanted to turn around...NOW. I wanted to go pet it! Before, she thought I was crazy....Now she knows.
It is amazing how four weeks of treatments can knock a man down. With hard work and exercise I am beginning to see returning back to my physical self. I still have some short term memory loss. but this will pass soon. I still have some short term memory loss. Did I already say that once?
Good luck too all of you. I will be thinking about you this winter when I'm out fishing.
I'm still lurking iboats daily
