HA HA HA...Wife just went out to bring in her rat dog, lo and behold...……..Access hatch that was lost/non-deliverable whas sitting on the deck!! This is for access to vent, fill and sender.
Heading outside I am..
Had some fun this morning. Was a chill so I put on the torpedo, just like summer in there. Got the hatch cut in. Little diddle things and then put dat floor down. Also cleaned up a little. Hmmm wonder if that hatch can be painted. It's a bright white. The boat is a dull off cream.
MFG says it's a …….
Heavy duty, UV stabilized white ABS construction
All hatches battened down Cap. Ok...rig the sails heading to New jersey says I! Errr Not for plunder or gold, loose women says I Arggh
Eric,
Do you think they would hold up to the foot traffic and all the other related water issues? I had accidently over sprayed another decj hatch and I ran a scratch across it. It came off pretty easy. Also like I said overspray so no prepped was involved.
Thanks!
I've used Krylon Fusion in the past with excellent results, but looks like they're fazing it out. Rustoleum claims their 2X series is supposed to hold up
Magically I'm back up as it was. Can you get a closer pic o the women for me? Working at some point in the store freezer section had it's advantages in the summer. :joyous:
Thanks Dez….waiting for your center console pics!
So got busy yesterday and today. Wrapped up installing Flotation Foam Solution products.
Behind me now. Very happy with it.
Next got to installing a couple areas of the deck and setting in pb. Weather is perfect. Used a slow cure and with the temps/bulk pb I had no issues of heating up too fast.
And yup I added chopped glass strands cause I can.
