Probably don’t need the speedo but it would even out the display ..
Recessed KOB holder in its place maybe ? :joyous:
I mean where they are located now it could easily tip over ..

I'll have to do a 22 deg. or 45 deg for that Sam. I'll have to break out my calculator.
Very possible.

So the pork is Southern style, no bones and thick cut. Right off the floor/shelf. I slow cooked them last night, wife marinated them for 2 days with one of those taco pack ingredients with oil.
Taters are small red bliss on the slow side of the grill with oil, butter, garlic, green peppers, rosemary. All over the counter stuff.
Shrimp were on sale, had to peel, cooked in butter, garlic, green peppers, onions, old bay....
Heat and smoke is on the left side of the grill with no heat on the right side...............OOOOhhhhMMannn yums
meat heat.............20 mins
tots.......................30 min
shrimp..................15 mins

I’m late to the party. I put the speedo back in mine to balance everything out, tach and Speedo are the same size. I agree with everyone else though. In my little river and lakes a speedo is pretty handy, in the bay, not so much.

Food looks great, long live Old Bay. Lol.

I'm late to the party it would seem. I was gonna say put the speedo in just cause you're there, but the arguments against are pretty solid, so nevermind! :noidea:
Love smoking meat! I bought a whole hog from a friend this fall, and have been happily curing and smoking bacon and hams. Drives the poor dogs nuts.

I'm typically late to my own party. Good hearing from you nurseman.
On a boat window note I am having a freakin frustrating time fitting whatever the materials are. So far multiple attempts with 2 different size plexi to see if 1 othe the other make an easier fit. Both sizes are supposed to work but they don't go in after templates. Pissing me off. just a lot....cost of that stuff is not cheap. Corner call for 3" rads but the rubber kinks on the bends. That made me suspicious. Tonight I sent out 1-2 em to the mfg for a possible solution so we'll see.

Found 1 example; opinions welcomed.

BTW I know the seem goes on the top not the bottom where they join. May end up doing the ole downeastern standby just to get my little girl on the water.

I'll find some pics later to show the other install ideas untill I can afford 3000-4000 grand for yum yum windows.

Is this the same type of window seal in an older car or truck? Don’t they apply the seal to the glass first then use a small cord tucked in the seal to pull it in from the outside? Pretty sure this is a two person job, one pushing one pulling.

Sorta similar chuck. The rubber is a lot thicker. I have that tool. Doesn't perform as expected. I think I do need to grow another set of arms. Sit back and regroup I guess.

I would think that once the lexan or glass was in the inner channel of the seal, it would force the rubber to conform. With the rubber just sitting in the frame and no glass in the middle, there is nothing pressing it out from the middle so it relaxes around the radius. Looks like you can search some YouTube videos that shows this type of seal being installed in cars. Should be a similar process I would guess.

Froggy,
I forgot about that vid. I do have the tool. @ baylinerchuck brought it up too. It makes more sense now. I'll
replay that and definitely give you some feedback.
I will say I forgot that process and really look forward to giving it another attempt.
Thank you!
