Well ear we go did the port side and windshield with 1st coat of fairing. Whet a pisser fairing is but at the end well worth it.
So with eeepppoooxxxyy put this in your books....3 oz of mix will give you 9 oz to work with. just remember that the resin has its time to set up so be prepared to do the most in the quickest time.
Ive also found that all said and down you can still go back witha clean spreader and flaten out alot of the prior work. So add that to your its not finished yet list.
Oh yea forget about saving spreaders. They all keep pcs or bits or melt off from the acetone. So they make grooves when you dont want them. More sanding more fairing.
Pics look just like the other side so go up for them.

Sanded down the other days fairing. Its ok. Then back to touch up. Boat needs alot of clean up. Nice though that the weather
has turned for the better. I can open up the cover and blow that dust out. Also placed a fan to promote away from me.
Color samples expected next week for exterior then order for trunk color and the matching paint for the exterior.

Got back in and did some sanding on the fairing. Added a couple of coats using Rustoleum clean metal primer.
Liking it. Gorgeous Day!
Getting dinner ready.
Cool note...found qt. of Kirby's matching exterior paint in my follies today. That will help with costs.

I wanted more, more more.
Yup... It was driving me CRAZY! Like most guys I wanted 6" more inches.....lol, for the rear roof extension. I kept looking at it every day saying get the boat on the water do it later...But nOOOOOO.
Also glassed off the roof edge of the cabin.
So now I created more work but so what. My wife selected a color for the trunk/cabin. Thats it, it was her pick and I have to keep her happy. Sometimes.
Trying to pop off alot of crap. Boat won't be in this year unfortunately. Gots to back into the surgeon next week to fix some crap. Like I say all the time to wifey...."someone will really enjoy this boat."

Now I have to go back and copy this link cause the forum wont let me edit my site. All this disappeared with noway to re-enter. Such crap.

Thanks eric, good to hear from you!
Roof extension pics from today.

Does anyone recognise this bug? They are black and have some small white spots on the back.
I thought it was a spider, it hops and flies. deciding weather or not to blow a bug bomb in the boat. They seem to like the boat and wet resin.
Glass went down wet on wet. The sun cooked it dry pretty fast.
Quick search says the bug is a lantern fly.

Nah, not a spotted lanternfly, they are more brown with black spots and a bright red back under the wings... I was in Lancaster a few months ago and they were EVERYWHERE, haven't seen any near my parts yet... Definitely haven't made it up to you yet... thank goodness... supposedly they are gonna ruin a bunch of crops and stuff.
