So the window gaskets showed and did a test fit. Nice! Says I. Today I worked the radius corners. Completed glassing wetonwet the port side. Diddled earlier in the week with fairing.
Rain all day but warm enough under cover and some turbo heat.

Seems pics are having issues. Lets see if ant stick.

Nope......

Did some sanding on starboard side and prepped windshield area/sanding glass. Went and did front 1st time and also diddled up starboard side with quick fills in divits.
Prior to fairing ran coat of EEpppoooxxxyyy to fill pin holes and help bonding. For tools that square plate used for concrete work helped out alot for trowling fairing compound.
Weather is awesome!

Hi Eric,
Moving along slow but steady. Seeing the doc tomorrow hopefully all good news. Thanks for asking. Went back to work mon. on light duty so that's ok with me. Run that for another shift then hopefully go back to my 1st shift vs. 2nd shift.
Nasty stuff it was!
Anywho I sanded out the windshield area from the 1st fairing. Will run the 2nd coat shortly. Rain came by but the weather is nice. Cont. to sand the glass on the port side to prep for fairing.
Acetone wash on everything for next fiaring. Tools of war are out!!!

Here are some of the sand papers I've gone thru. This is only a fraction. its nice to see this moving forward. Ordered some primer and also from Kirby Paints I asked for color sample to paint the exterior of the house.
I'm going to go with an off tone/color for that.

We had that all last summer in the river. I got very good at getting the boat in and out and not getting my feet wet. Wife is a nurse so I get the blow by blow of crap like that.

Nice.... Crabs and skin eating itself. Yummy!
Crazy weather day but still at it. I went and finally gots some of da primer on the exterior today. Rain sun, rain sun.

Looking for divets, small pore holes, more sanding, more primer. Also have Kirby paints sending me some sample colors fro the trunk and wheelhouse to review. Going to be off color from the main boat tone.
Oh yea...primer is rustoleum clean meatal.

Looking good Kc !
I think the chance of getting struck by lightning or shark attack are much greater than catching flesh eating virus down here ..
I feel safe taking my chances .. But not planning on getting in with open sores that’s for sure ..
