Had rain all morning so I did some stuff needed inside the boat. Then
the sun broke out and I got up on the roof.
Finished fairing.
Ran 1 coat primer. Thats it I'm beat.

Now that is looking good there.

Always feels good to move forward. Thanks Chev.
Paint is supposed to be here tomorrow from Kirbys. I really want to coat the interior and exterior in their respective colors. Then I can install the window gaskets.
Next onto detail stuff.

Yours is one of the few boats left that was going when I started mine. So I really want to see it on the water. I like it.

Took it easy today. Did some little detail work and went and drilled out all the existing screw holes that were open. I used a counter sink bit sphelps hit on the money with this tech.

Also soft sanded ruff with 220 on primer and did a recoat of rustoleum primer Woodonglass formula. Began sanding the ole crap off the trunk from a hundred years ago.
Cleaned up some corners on the winshield glass for prep.
Trying to get all primed again, review issues, do what I need and paint.

Cut some ply to look like extended bracket for ruff. Little rough but does the job. Pb'd them into place and
went with the leftover pb to fill all the prior drilled out screw holes.
So the glue is everywhere and that means time to stop! Cause all you end up doing is messing up the glue and it gets all over you.
Happy Fathers Day guys!

Working on glass, primer, loose ends, fairing, .............................
Getting close to paint. Very happy with the progress. Some pics show how sloppy my boat is, others show progress, also sanding alot of slop from overtime and wishing that myself and others protect the other surfaces. I just got sloppy so more sanding to clean it up.
Getting exciting.
Some of the everyday slop when you have no garage to work in.

Lots and lots of preliminary sanding. Will go back with fairing and more sanding.
Lots of glass today also. That will all need trimming and fairing. After that painting.

Slow recovery...lol. Neighbors came by last evening and social distancing. With wine and brews.....Night ran late in the backyard. lots of fun.
Got into the boat this morning with some hair of the dog. Made a big batch of fairing and was a good mix. I had good time to work it. Let it set up and sand. Get to priming then paint. weather is perfect as well as the bug level. :}
