Another project ...... #&@! RV frame bent and the undersized axle failed.

Forest River has not responded. However the axle has an 11 year warranty. Do argued with them, and have a new frame coming too

So $300 worth of 2x2x3/16" tubing and I will be reinforcing the frame. Just awaiting the parts.

Throws a damper in the 4th plans of 5 states .....

The stock 3500# axle,(4400# max capacity) is under a 3820# EVW RV with a 900# cargo capacity....... Someone can't do math in Indiana

Helped the neighbor diagnose his VP 4.3GXI as a failed ECM......

The BCM in the solstice is failing again. Have to hot wire the fan and AC compressor.

Really hating EFI, BCMs and vehicle electronics

Lippert still hasn't shipped the axle or frame for the RV. May need to order the 6k axle sooner than later

Have the metal to reinforce the frame. Time to just get it done

Closet looks really good, Scott. How was working with hickory? I've not done projects with it; I usually work with hard maple or red oak or cherry.

it eats planer blades and saw blades...... however the shavings make great smoke on the grill. it will also dent the hardwood floor if you drop it, and the planed edge is sharp enough to shave your skin.

But the grain pattern is really beautiful.

So the new axle shows up...... supposed to be 22 degree down. looks like 10 degree down. actually measures 16 degrees down.

I don't even know what I'm looking at other than the bevel gauge. Looks nothing like axels I've seen. Will the difference in degrees be critical.

Just finished reworking the AC system on the Fox. After the 4th, the new convertible top goes on!

I wanted a loon decoy for the mantle, was very disappointed with what I found online, they were ornaments not decoys. I ended up finding a vintage blanc made in 1979, sanded it and glued the head on. I am not artistic at all, not creative enough to doodle but I am giving it a go.
