Thanks Wood I will check with them. Probably a this winter project, but I want to look into it before I install the pito pick up and tube.

I sort of got the front deck drains installed tonight. I had a friend help hold the fittings on the outside, while I tightened up the jamb nut on the deck fittings.

The jamb nut is about where it needs to be when installed. So the idea is to turn the excess threaded section down to the size of the ribs on the smallest step. Then cut both the ribbed section off....I have to get a lathe one of these days!

I co-hosted a pool party yesterday, so not much time on the boat this weekend. I did terminate the last of the wiring today (other than the bilge blower, that is on the after splash list since I am planing on a splash without the dog house). I still need to roll up the spare wires and tuck them out of the way. I also need to trim up or replace the battery cables, but for now we are calling the wiring "substantially complete". I put in the fuses, set the breaker and tested everything out. No magic smoke escaped and everything worked. I did fiddle with the stern light LED, the socket is a little goofy but I think I got it fixed up. The forecast is finally dry this week, so hopefully I can run her to the glass place and get that checked off my list.

I am sure there are a lot of things I am missing. but I wanted to make a list of things that I need to do in order to wrap it up. Blue is pre-engine start, yellow is pre-splash and the rest are when I get to it.

You should install that list on ProCore . That way it sends you emails on overdue items and what has already been resolved ..:D
That little ol list you should have knocked out by the end of the week Arch ;)

Thanks feeling better, but not a 100% yet. I'm going to see if I can get a few things crossed off the list today.

Thanks Kcassells. I didn't get a lot done today, still a bit weak. However I did get all of the battery hold down pieces ready to install. If you go back about a million post, I installed the battery hold downs that I made out of seacast. They have stainless carriage bolts sticking up. The are a few inches short, so I added some threaded rod via couplings. I loctited them in place, so they should be secure.

I also cut down a piece of 1x2 aluminum tube to act as the hold down that will go across the battery. Drilled a few holes in it and then sprayed liquid plastic on it. If all this looks familiar, its more or less I did the hold down for Miss Morgan.

And I cut out a rubber pad (home depot floor mat) to go between the battery and the hold down.

I guess I should at least be able to assemble the battery hold down tomorrow. Hopefully I have a bit more go in me, I am anxious to fire her up on muffs and run her through some paces. I for sure need to do a cam lifter break in.....not ideal on muffs but I don't need a cam going flat!

They have worked like a champ in Miss Morgan, should work well here also. All the aftermarket ones I have found suck. I like keeping the battery box and cutting it down. That way if you have a battery leak or boil over it doesn't end up in the bilge. Had that happen before I put the voltage regulator on Miss Morgan.

That rubber mat is good stuff. I used pieces of it to space out my fuel tank. Pieces of it in my anchor locker, and in my aft storage compartments.
